Vitality Extracts Frankincense Balm is a 57g five-ingredient balm of olive oil, almond oil, white and yellow beeswax, frankincense (Boswellia serrata) essential oil and vitamin E, suited to dry, cracked or chapped skin anywhere on the body.

What it does

Olive and sweet almond oils provide the rich base, beeswax holds moisture against the skin and gives the balm its firm, protective texture, and Boswellia serrata essential oil brings the dry, resinous, faintly citrus scent frankincense is known for. Vitamin E completes the formula. On warm skin it melts into a glossy layer that leaves rough patches feeling softer and more comfortable, and it stays put through handwashing better than a lotion. No parabens, sulphates, synthetic fragrance or fillers – a traditional balm in a travel-friendly tin.

How to use

Warm a small amount between the fingertips and work into dry areas – hands, heels, elbows, knees, lips if you like the scent – as often as needed and before bed. Keep away from the eyes. Contains essential oil; patch-test first and avoid during pregnancy unless your midwife or doctor is happy with it.
