What it does
A gommage works differently from a scrub or an acid. You apply it to dry skin, let it sit briefly, then roll it off with your fingertips — the gel binds to dead surface cells and lifts them away as it comes. No grit to scratch with, no acid to sting, which is why it suits skin that can't tolerate the other two.
The Gongjinhyang Seol line is The History of Whoo's brightening range, built on the Korean court-medicine tradition the brand is founded on. Skin looks brighter and feels noticeably smoother straight afterwards, and whatever you apply next goes on more evenly.
How to use
Apply to dry skin — this is the step people get wrong, and on wet skin it simply slides about without working. Leave a moment, then massage gently in circles until it rolls off. Rinse with lukewarm water. Once or twice a week.
Who it is for
For dull or rough-textured skin, and for anyone who finds scrubs abrasive and acids irritating. Not for use on broken, sunburned or actively irritated skin. Wear sunscreen the following day — any exfoliation leaves skin more sun-sensitive. Patch-test before first use.
