SIXPAD Foot Fit 3 is a Japanese EMS (electrical muscle stimulation) foot trainer from MTG that works the soles, shins and calves while you sit, in Compact or Heat versions, for adults who want to exercise their lower legs without standing up.
What it does
Rest bare feet on the electrode plates and the device sends gentle EMS pulses through the muscles used for walking, from the soles of the feet up through the front of the shins to the calves, three areas trained at once. A remote control lets you choose between a 15-minute training programme that moves automatically from warm-up to training to cool-down, and a 12-minute conditioning programme, with 25 intensity levels to suit beginners through to regular users. The Heat version adds a built-in warming function for a cosier, more relaxing session. The unit is under 2cm thick and under 1kg, so it slides under a sofa when not in use. USB charging (AC adapter not included). Made in Japan.
How to use
Sit comfortably, place bare feet on the electrodes and use the remote to pick a programme and intensity. Run the 15-minute training or 12-minute conditioning programme once a day, starting on a low level and building up. Follow the manual. Not for use with pacemakers or during pregnancy.
