A bamboo-based face mist for oily and combination skin. 150ml.
What it does
Most face mists are water with a little glycerin, which is why they evaporate and leave skin drier than they found it. This uses black bamboo extract in place of plain water — bamboo sap is naturally high in silica and minerals, so the thing making up most of the bottle is contributing something rather than being filler.
The finish is what sets it apart from a hydrating mist: it settles oil rather than adding shine, so it works at 3pm when skin has gone slick, and over makeup without breaking it up. Skin looks fresher and less congested through the day.
How to use
Shake, hold 20cm from the face and mist. Use as a toner step after cleansing, or through the day over makeup. Press in with fingertips rather than letting it air-dry — letting a mist evaporate off the skin is the reason some people find mists leave them tighter.
Who it is for
For oily and combination skin, and anyone whose face gets shiny by the afternoon. There's an 80ml size for a handbag. If your skin is dry, the Black Rice NAD+ Serum Mist is the more substantial option. Patch-test before first use.
