Abib Heartleaf Calming Spot Patch is a pack of 78 hydrocolloid spot patches in two sizes – 48 × 10mm and 30 × 12mm – with bevelled edges that sit flush to the skin and stay put under make-up, through cleansing and overnight. For blemishes from the first bump to the healing stage.

What it does

Hydrocolloid draws fluid out of a blemish and keeps the area covered and moist, so the spot flattens faster, is protected from picking and dirt, and leaves less of a mark. Abib's version is cut with tapered edges – the "bevelling" – so the patch blends into the skin instead of showing a rim, holds without curling, and does not collect dust. Waterproof and strong enough to survive a face wash. Dermatologist-tested for blemish-prone skin. Two sizes cover small early spots and larger, more swollen ones. 78 patches.

How to use

On clean, completely dry skin, before serum or cream. Peel a patch from the sheet without touching the sticky side and press firmly over the blemish for a few seconds. Leave for at least six hours or overnight; replace when the centre turns white. Works under make-up by day.
