What it does
Retinal, or retinaldehyde, sits a step closer to retinoic acid than retinol does, which is why it tends to show on the skin faster. It is also less stable, so the capsule format matters here rather than being a texture gimmick. Peptides work alongside it on the look of firmness. Used consistently, skin looks smoother, firmer and more even in tone.
How to use
In the evening only, press a pea-sized amount between the fingers to burst the capsules, then smooth over the face. Start twice a week and build up as tolerance allows. SPF the following morning is not optional. Not for use during pregnancy.
