UL·OS All-In-One Skin Lotion is a 200ml toner-and-moisturiser in one for men, made by Japan's Otsuka Pharmaceutical. One light, fast-absorbing fluid after washing or shaving, no separate steps. Built for normal, combination and oily skin.

What it does

UL·OS is Japan's leading men's skincare brand, and this is its signature product. The lotion has a watery, quick-drying texture that replaces the toner-then-moisturiser routine with a single application. It leaves skin feeling moisturised and comfortable without any film, tack or shine, keeps the oil-and-water balance in check on skin that tends to go greasy by mid-afternoon, and calms the tight, hot feeling after a shave. Its featured moisturising ingredient is AMP (adenosine monophosphate), Otsuka's long-standing skincare active. Lightly fragranced with a clean, faint scent that fades fast. 200ml pump-top bottle sized for daily use over about three months. How to use

After washing the face, or straight after shaving, dispense two to three pumps into the palm and smooth over the whole face and neck. Absorbs in seconds; no rinsing and nothing else needed. Use morning and evening. Can also be used on the body after showering.

Men who want one bottle and one step: normal, combination or oily skin, skin that gets shiny during the day, and anyone who finds creams too heavy. Also suits sensitive skin that reacts after shaving. If your skin is dry or feels tight in winter, choose the Skin Milk instead. Patch-test if you have reactive skin; for external use only.
