What it does
A primer does two jobs: it smooths the surface so foundation sits evenly, and it gives makeup something to grip so it stays put through the day. This one adds a soft reflective quality underneath rather than on top, which is what produces a lit-from-within look instead of a layer of shimmer. Pores and texture look blurred, and base makeup wears more evenly.
How to use
After skincare and sunscreen, smooth a pea-sized amount over the face, concentrating on the centre where makeup breaks down first. Wait a minute before applying foundation or cushion.
Who it is for
Anyone whose base makeup separates or looks flat by afternoon, and normal to dry skin wanting a glow finish. Very oily skin may prefer a mattifying primer in the T-zone.
