Obagi Nu-Derm Blend Fx is a 57g evening cream from the dermatologist-developed Nu-Derm line, formulated with arbutin, lactic acid and vitamin C for skin that is looking uneven in tone and wants a brighter, more uniform appearance.
What it does
Blend Fx is the evening step of the Nu-Derm Fx regimen, the version of the system built around arbutin rather than a prescription ingredient. Arbutin is paired with lactic acid, which gently exfoliates the surface, and vitamin C, an antioxidant that supports brighter-looking skin, while glycerin draws in moisture so skin feels comfortable overnight. The cream has a light, smooth texture that sinks in without residue. With regular use, skin tone looks more even and the surface feels softer and smoother. It is designed to be used alongside Clear Fx and the rest of the Nu-Derm routine, but can also be used on its own.
How to use
Use in the evening after cleansing and toning. Massage a small amount into the face in upward strokes until fully absorbed, then follow with moisturiser if needed. Wear a broad-spectrum SPF every morning, as lactic acid can make skin more sun-sensitive. Patch-test first.
