Obagi AHA+PHA Smoothing Micro-Peel is a 15g leave-on lip peel with glycolic acid, lactic acid, gluconolactone and sodium hyaluronate, developed by dermatologists for dry, flaky or rough-textured lips that want a smoother, softer finish without scrubbing.
What it does
This is a lightweight, no-scrub formula in a twist-up applicator that is applied to clean, dry lips every other night. Glycolic and lactic acids gently loosen the dry, flaky surface cells that make lips look rough and uneven, while gluconolactone, a milder polyhydroxy acid, works more slowly and helps keep the formula comfortable. Sodium hyaluronate draws in moisture so lips feel cushioned and supple rather than tight. Left on overnight, it leaves lips looking smoother, softer and more polished by morning, and lipstick or balm sits more evenly. It replaces the physical lip scrub in a routine and pairs well with the brand's Soothe & Protect lip balm by day.
How to use
Every other night, twist the applicator to the on position and dispense a generous amount onto clean, dry lips. Apply from the centre outward, massage any excess in with a fingertip and leave on. Avoid the skin around the mouth and use lip SPF by day. Patch-test first.
