What it does

The two-chamber bottle isn't packaging theatre. The formula comes from Dr Nathan Bryan, an academic who spent his career on nitric oxide biochemistry rather than cosmetics, which is an unusual route into a serum. On the other side sits 20% vitamin C as L-ascorbic acid — a high concentration by any standard. Together they work on the look of fine lines, dullness and uneven tone, and skin tends to look brighter and more even with consistent use.

How to use

Dispense one pump from each chamber, mix in your palm, and massage into the face and neck straight away — the point is to apply it while the reaction is happening, so don't let it sit. Allow it to absorb fully before layering anything else. Morning and evening. Follow with SPF: at 20%, the ascorbic acid makes skin more sun-sensitive.

Who it is for

For skin that tolerates vitamin C well and wants a high concentration of it. 20% L-ascorbic acid is strong and acidic — if vitamin C has stung or irritated you before, start every second or third day and build up, or choose a gentler formulation.
