What it does

Skin Zyme uses papain, a proteolytic enzyme from green papaya, to break down the keratin holding dead surface cells in place. That's a different route from acids, which work by lowering pH, or scrubs, which work by friction — and because enzymes act only on cells already dead, there's no stinging, no grit and no flaking afterwards. Honey hydrates, safflower seed oil softens and vitamin E adds antioxidant protection. It also works well alongside stronger resurfacing products, clearing surface build-up so they aren't working through a layer of dead cells. Paraben-free.

How to use

Apply a thin even layer to clean skin, including the neck if you wish. Leave for up to 20 minutes. To remove, massage a small amount of Clean Zyme Cleanser over the top to emulsify, wipe away with a damp cloth, then splash with lukewarm water 10 to 15 times. Pat dry and continue your routine. Use one to three times a week.
