What it does
Mineral filters work differently from chemical ones: zinc oxide sits on the surface and deflects UV rather than absorbing it into the skin, which is why mineral formulas are usually the recommendation for reactive, post-procedure or easily irritated skin. This one is untinted, so there's no colour-matching to worry about, and it's carried in a base with skin-conditioning botanicals rather than a bare mineral formula. How to use
Apply generously and evenly 15 minutes before going out, as the final step of your morning routine. Reapply every two hours, and after swimming or sweating. Untinted mineral formulas can leave a slight cast on deeper skin tones — the tinted SPF45 is the better option there.
