What it does
Conventional vitamin C serums use ascorbic acid: effective, but acidic, unstable and often too stinging for reactive skin. C-Esta uses ascorbyl palmitate instead, the oil-soluble form, which absorbs well and stays comfortable on skin that can't tolerate the acidic version. Paired with it is DMAE, the ingredient most associated with Jan Marini, working on the look of firmness and facial definition, plus hyaluronic acid for moisture and vitamins B5 and E to condition. Over consistent use skin looks brighter, firmer and more even, with dark marks appearing softened.
How to use
Shake well. Apply a small amount to clean skin on the face, neck and behind the ears, morning and evening. Follow with moisturiser, and SPF in the morning.
Who it is for
For all skin types, and particularly anyone whose skin stings with conventional vitamin C. If your skin is oily, the Oil Control version is the better fit; if it's dry, the C-Esta Face Cream is richer. Patch-test before first use.
