A dual-action body scrub from Jan Marini combining glycolic acid with polylactic acid beads — chemical and physical exfoliation in one, for rough, bumpy or dull body skin.
What it does
Body skin is thicker and more forgiving than facial skin, which is why scrubs alone rarely fix rough patches — they polish the surface without addressing what's underneath. This pairs glycolic acid, which loosens the bond holding dead cells in place, with polylactic acid beads: a biodegradable, evenly milled exfoliant that smooths without the microtears that jagged natural scrubs can cause. Aloe vera, chamomile and glycerin keep skin comfortable, and rosemary leaf extract adds antioxidant support. Particularly useful on the rough, bumpy texture that appears on upper arms, elbows, knees and thighs.
How to use
In the bath or shower, apply a generous amount to damp skin and massage in circular motions with hands, sponge or loofah, concentrating on rough areas. Rinse thoroughly. Use two to three times a week. Avoid broken or irritated skin, and don't use immediately after shaving or waxing.
