What it does
Skin sits at around pH 5, mildly acidic, and that acidity is part of how the barrier defends itself. Traditional foaming cleansers are alkaline — which is why they lather so well and why they leave skin squeaking. This is a low-pH cleanser: mildly acidic, so it works with the skin's own state instead of resetting it. The texture is a soft, smoothie-like cream rather than a gel, and it still lathers properly — the usual complaint about gentle cleansers is that they feel like they haven't done anything, and this one doesn't. Yam extract and ceramide keep the skin comfortable afterwards. Vegan and suitable for sensitive skin.
How to use
Massage a small amount over damp skin, then rinse with lukewarm water. Morning and evening. In the evening, use an oil cleanser first if you've worn makeup or sunscreen — a low-pH cleanser is the second step, not the one that removes everything.
