What it does
0.3% is an unusually high concentration for Korean skincare, which generally favours gentler derivatives and bakuchiol over straight retinol. This is IOPE going the other way: a concentrated corrector aimed at the areas where lines set in — around the eyes, the mouth, and between the brows. It works on the appearance of fine lines, firmness and rough texture, and at this strength the effect is more pronounced than the lower concentrations, provided you build up gradually rather than starting nightly. The 20ml size reflects how it's meant to be used: sparingly, on specific areas, rather than spread across the whole face.
How to use
Apply at night only, after essence and before moisturiser, concentrating on areas prone to lines. Start twice a week and build up slowly — this is strong enough that pushing too fast will cause flaking and irritation. Follow with moisturiser. Don't layer with acids on the same night. Daily broad-spectrum SPF is essential: retinol increases sun sensitivity, and skipping it undoes the work.
