Huxley Essence Cover Cushion Unseen Layer Refill is the 12g replacement cushion for Huxley's essence-infused cushion foundation – light, dewy, skin-like coverage with SPF23 PA++ and the brand's signature prickly-pear cactus extract plus cactus-flower keratinase. Two shades: 01 Desert Peach and 02 Coral Sand.
What it does
Huxley builds everything on Sahara prickly-pear cactus, and this cushion is its base product: a thin, breathable layer that evens tone and blurs texture without the mask-like finish of a full foundation, kept moist and glowy by the essence it's soaked in. Keratinase, an enzyme derived from cactus flower, helps the surface look smoother so the base sits evenly. SPF23 PA++ gives light everyday protection (not a substitute for sunscreen in strong sun). Coverage is sheer-to-light and buildable; finish is dewy. Shades: 01 Desert Peach (light, peach-toned), 02 Coral Sand (light-medium, warm). This is the refill only – it drops into the original Huxley compact.
How to use
Lift the used cushion out of the compact and drop the refill in with its puff. Press the puff into the cushion and pat over the face from the centre outward, building a second thin layer where needed. Use over sunscreen on bright days. Replace every two to three months or when the sponge dries.
