Who it's for and important safety information

IPL works on the contrast between skin and hair, so it's most effective on lighter skin with darker hair and is less effective on very dark, red, grey or blonde hair. The skin-tone sensor will not flash on skin tones it cannot safely treat. Do not use over tattoos, moles, dark spots or freckles, on tanned or recently sun-exposed skin, or near the eyes. Avoid if you are pregnant, photosensitive, taking medication that increases light sensitivity, or have a history of skin cancer. Shave rather than wax between sessions. It's a hair-reduction device, not a permanent hair-removal treatment, and it's not for reducing freckles or pigmentation. Patch-test first; not for under-18s.
