What it does

Bamboo sap is the interesting part. It's naturally high in minerals and silica, and Korean brands use it in place of plain water at the base of a formula — so the thing making up most of the jar is doing something rather than nothing. Combined with hyaluronic acid, it gives a gel-cream that feels light going on but keeps skin comfortable for hours, without the heaviness that puts oily skin off moisturiser entirely. It absorbs quickly enough to layer under sunscreen and makeup without pilling, and it's vegan and dermatologically tested for sensitive skin.

How to use

After cleansing and toning, pat an appropriate amount over face and neck. Morning and evening. Apply to slightly damp skin — the hyaluronic acid works by holding water, so it does more when there's water available to hold. Two jars means you can keep one at home and one in a bag or at work.
